“What’s This Worth?” a Vintage Collectable and Appraisal Fair is coming to Genesee County on Saturday, October 12 & Sunday, October 13. The Flint & Genesee Convention and Visitors Bureau is promoting the event, which takes place at the Perani Arena and Event Center.
Mike Gaylord from the radio show Everything Classic and Cari from HGTV’s Cash and Cari Show will be among more than a dozen experts on hand to appraise items brought in by the public.
Gaylord, a local radio personality, has hosted his live antique and collectible show on WFNT for more than 10 years. Estate sale guru Cari Cucksey has an eye for spotting diamonds in the rough. On her HGTV show she combs through clients’ basements, attics and garages in search of hidden treasure for estate sales.
Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $5 per day or $8 for a two-day pass and parking is free. The ticket price includes one free appraisal.
Perani Arena is located at 3501 Lapeer Road in Flint.
