The first SEE Photography Contest winners announced

(FLINT, Mich. Oct. 2, 2013) — The SEE Photography Contest had more than 50 entries in its first month, highlighting everything from downtown Flint festivals to nature’s wonders in Flint and Genesee County.  Two winners and three honorable mentions were chosen from many great photos. The September winners are: First Place – Autumn D. Rummel, for her photo “Early Fall – Bridge on a Beautiful Foggy Morning,” and Second Place – Sean MacIntyre, for his submission “Much Ado About Nothing – Shakespeare in Kearsley Park.”  Winners receive gift cards. The three Honorable Mentions were awarded to: Heather Shurter for “Searching for Turtles at For-Mar,” Bill Harris for “Back to the Bricks Opening Ceremony & Military Fly-over,” and Destiny Schulte for “Fall Foggy Canoe.”

Thank you to everyone who submitted photos showcasing the city of Flint and the communities of Genesee County.  We and encourage all photographers– amateur and professional–to keep shooting and entering the SEE Photography Contest monthly.
