Businesses, skilled trades groups join growing list of supporters backing a new advanced manufacturing project in Genesee County
(FLINT, Mich. – July 25, 2024) Support in Genesee County for a job-creating advanced manufacturing project continues to grow with new businesses, labor groups and trade groups adding their names to a list of stakeholders excited about the potential of the Advanced Manufacturing District (AMD) of Genesee County.
Among those now officially supporting the work of the Flint & Genesee Economic Alliance to attract a company to the site in Mundy Township include Siwek Construction, International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers (BAC) Local 2 of Michigan, UA Local 370 Plumbers & Pipefitters, Genesee, Lapeer & Shiawassee Building Trades Council, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 948, and Sheet Metal Workers Local 7.
