The Shared Services Center at the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce is moving forward as the facilitator of shared services in the region. Communities and organizations within Genesee County are able to leverage assistance from the Center to gain economies of scale through collaboration. The Service Center is currently staffed and working with several communities in the region.
According to George Wilkinson, Director of Operations and Shared Services for the Regional Chamber the Center is working to create an attractive environment that will streamline processes for shared services participants.
“We are off to a great start working to create an environment where communities in the region can gain economic efficiencies, while providing the greatest benefit to the people they serve,” said Wilkinson.
