Regional Chamber and eTEAM Announce ‘Genesee 10 to Watch’ and Spark Honorees

The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce and the eTEAM have named the 2012 “Genesee 10 to Watch” and Spark Award winners. Businesses are selected to receive the awards for exhibiting growth and in recognition of their contributions to Flint and Genesee County.

The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce and the eTEAM have named the 2012 “Genesee 10 to Watch” and Spark Award winners. Businesses are selected to receive the awards for exhibiting growth and in recognition of their contributions to Flint and Genesee County.

According to Tim Herman, CEO of the Regional Chamber this year’s honorees include a wide range of businesses that are making a difference in the region.

“Entrepreneurs play an important role in the growth of our region,” said Herman. “The Spark and Genesee 10 awards acknowledge the contributions of small businesses with great success stories.  The award recipients are shining examples of businesses that are growing.  There’s a lot that new entrepreneurs can learn from them.”

The following new businesses have been named Spark Award winners for their growth trajectory and entrepreneurial success:

The Regional Chamber eTEAM is a partnership of entrepreneurial service providers working to connect local entrepreneurs and small businesses with resources to promote growth and success.  eTEAM member organizations include:  MI-Small Business & Technology Development Center (MI-SBTDC), City of Flint, The Career Alliance – Michigan Works!
