Dallas, New York, Atlanta, Chicago Focus of Trips
The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Team has hit the road along with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to promote advantages of doing business in Michigan. Janice Karcher, Vice President of Economic Development for the Regional Chamber joined representatives from the State of Michigan and around the state for a recent visit to Dallas and expects to participate in visits to New York/New Jersey, Atlanta and Chicago in the coming months.
“The marketing excursions help shine a light on positive changes Michigan’s tax climate, new incentive programs and more,” said Karcher. “Site selectors in each of these cities will learn more about the benefits of recommending Michigan to their clients.”
MEDC recently named experienced real estate developer Dusty Duistermais as the contact person for site selectors.
