(FLINT, Mich., September 29, 2017) – The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce invites area professionals and employers to a high-energy workshop covering disruptive innovative on Oct. 10.
The session – led by Eric Rowles, a nationally recognized speaker who has led presentations for major companies and organizations including Starbucks, Habitat for Humanity and Wells Fargo — will focus on what it takes to achieve radical transformation in the workplace.
“No matter who your customer base is, you can’t approach your work in 2018 the same way you did in 2017 – let alone 2007,” Rowles said. “Things are moving at a terabyte speed. It’s time to ask, ‘What should I be doing now to ensure that I’m ahead of the game in 2027?’”
The three-hour session will cover case studies illustrating disruptive innovation, the difference between change and transformation, the five stages to radical transformation and more.
Attendees can expect a high-energy and motivational presentation. Rowles – a former professional DJ who has worked with artists including Gwen Stefani, The Notorious B.I.G. and Billy Joel – implements music into each of his sessions.

The training session will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at Durant-Dort Factory One, at 303 W. Water St., Flint. Admission is $25 for the general public and $15 for Chamber members. A light breakfast will breakfast will be provided.
