Mott Community College (MCC) has received a Gold ranking as a Veteran-Friendly School by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA). The organization released the rankings Aug. 19. MCC achieved six out of seven criteria to qualify as a Gold School.
The Veteran-Friendly School program, created by the MVAA, recognizes institutions of higher learning for their dedication to student veterans and dependents utilizing their G.I. Bill and other educational benefits.
“We strive to make Mott College a welcoming and supportive environment for our military veterans and their dependents,” said Chris Engle, Dean of Enrollment, Retention and Registrar at MCC. “As a veteran myself, I recognize how important it is to provide the services our student veterans need to be successful.”
