Flint-based green initiatives and projects will be highlighted at the annual Michigan Green Communities Conference on February 25 and 26 at the University of Michigan-Flint.
The conference will showcase best practices from around Michigan highlighting climate resiliency and collaboration. On the first day of the conference the focus will be on statewide participation and peer-to-peer learning, highlighting Flint projects. On the second day, the Great Lakes Adaptation Assessment for Cities (GLAA-C) will showcase the Imagine Flint master plan, targeting local and regional stakeholders.
The conference is sponsored by the C.S. Mott Foundation, Freshwater Future, University of Michigan Graham Sustainability Institute, Great Lakes Adaptation Assessment for Cities, University of Michigan-Flint and the Michigan Municipal League Foundation.
