Regional manufacturing concerns continue to have an important seat at the table with the re-appointment of Christie Wong Barrett (Wong), CEO of Grand Blanc-based Mac Arthur Corporation, to the U.S. Department of Commerce Manufacturing Council for the 2015-2016 term. Wong, whose appointment was announced by Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker in February, joins other top executives and leaders from U.S. manufacturing companies advising Pritzker on government policies and programs that affect the nation’s manufacturing sector.
