Local Chambers Team Up to Support Teddy Bear Patrol with Dancing with Local Stars

Local ‘Stars’ will hit the dance floor on Thursday, April 11 as the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce along with combined local chambers in Genesee County present “Dancing with Local Stars” to support the Teddy Bear Patrol.  The event starts at 6:00 p.m. at the Jewel of Grand Blanc located at 5270 Perry Rd. in Grand Blanc.

The dancing competition will feature local ‘stars’ including Bob Pickell, Genesee County Sheriff; Charles Smiley, Michigan State Representative; Cheryl Sclater, Elga Credit Union; Lenetta Coney, Mott Foundation; Lisa Szuhent, Miss Genesee County; Kim Gray, Forever Young Med Spa and Morgan Mikiczenko of MLive.  The event features a live and silent auction, heavy hors’ deourves, a cash bar and music provided by Groove Party.

The Teddy Bear Patrol provides teddy bears to local law enforcement and fire departments to comfort children in traumatic situations.
