Monthly consultation sessions to launch Feb. 27
(Flint, Mich., Feb. 13, 2025) The Flint & Genesee Economic Alliance, in collaboration with local partners, is launching the Genesee Entrepreneurial Network (GEN) to strengthen support for entrepreneurs and small business owners in Flint & Genesee.
GEN unites a coalition of local small business service providers – nonprofits, municipalities, financial institutions, and universities – all dedicated to providing expert guidance in business planning, product development, financing, personal credit, and professional training at little to no cost to small business owners.
“The Flint & Genesee Economic Alliance has long brought small business partners together,” said Karena Hamlet, director of Business Services at the Flint & Genesee Economic Alliance, a division of the Flint & Genesee Group. “This group builds on lessons learned over the years and addresses a key need: strengthening that network while connecting service providers directly to those who need their support.”
