Residential real estate prices continued upward last month. The average sales price of homes was up 15 percent in June 2017 compared to the same period last year, according to the East Central Association of REALTORS®.
The average price in June was $160,616 versus $139,565 a year ago. Residential sales in Flint & Genesee declined 1.8 percent in June 2017 from the same period last year. There were 547 homes sold last month compared to 557 in June 2016. Total dollar volume sold year-to-date is $358,433,337.
The number of active listings is up 23 units from last month, and down 620 units (35.59 percent) from last year at the time.
