The days of summer are coming to an end. They will soon be replaced by fall colors and crispness in the air. But before we usher in the fall season, I want to thank Chamber members for coming out to our annual appreciation event, Hot Rods & Hot Dogs. We had a record turnout, with over 900 members and guests attending.
We wanted to put on a great event for our members; and from what many of you have told me, a great time was had by all.
I also want to thank the generous businesses that sponsored the event and allowed us to celebrate in style. The celebration would have been very different without them. So allow me to say thanks once again to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan; Blue Care Network; Fifth Third Bank; and Lewis & Knopf. You are outstanding partners!
I hope everyone has enjoyed the summer, creating memories and spending time with your family and friends. The Chamber continues to work on your behalf bringing new opportunities, programs and services that will help grow your business.
