In about a month, we will host the 2013 Business Awards Dinner on November 7. This is one of my favorite events of the year because we come together to recognize some of the region’s most outstanding companies.
Every day businesses in Flint and Genesee County are keeping the region moving forward and accomplishing great things that often go unnoticed.
They are contributing to Flint’s and Genesee County’s economic recovery. They are creating jobs, making great products and providing services, contributing to and/or expanding the local tax base and giving back to their communities.
The goal of the Business Awards is to shine a light on businesses and business owners in the region who have made great strides and set a standard of excellence. We want the community to know about the companies – large or small — that are fueling the region’s economic growth and making this area a great place to do business.
I hope that you have taken the time to nominate your company or another company that has consistently demonstrated excellence and is committed to reinventing and revitalizing the region
We are planning a great evening which includes award-winning journalist Bill Harris of WEYI NBC TV 25 who will serve as our emcee. We’ll also have dinner, an opportunity to catch up with friends and an awards ceremony.
