Thursday, August 16 – Corner of S. Saginaw Street and Second Street – Downtown Flint
Members are invited to eat, drink and be merry as the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Hot Rods & Hot Dogs event under the big tent on Thursday, August 16 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the corner of S. Saginaw and Second Streets during the Back to the Bricks cruise.
The members-only cookout on the lawn of the Wade Trim Building features free food from the grill catered by Blackstone’s Pub and Grill, along with free beer and wine. Music will be provided by the Groove Party Band. Chamber members can also show off their classic cars along Second Street while watching cars cruise on S. Saginaw Street.
According to Steve Flynn, Regional Chamber Director of Member Services this annual event is a great way for Chamber members to enjoy the downtown festivities during Back to the Bricks.
“Hot Rods & Hot Dogs is our annual appreciation for Chamber members,” said Flynn. “Members with classic cars can reserve a spot right on Second and those who want to enjoy the cruise should bring lawn chairs for a prime view.”
