Grow your Business with Government Contracting

PTAC Hosts April Workshop

April 10, 2012 – 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – Genesee Regional Chamber, Mott Board Room

Spring is the time to consider diversifying your revenue stream through government contracting. Explore the possibilities for your business by attending the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce Procurement Technical Assistance Center’s (PTAC) Selling your Products or Services to the Government workshop.  The April workshop takes place on Tuesday, April 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce in the Mott Board Room.

Dustin Frigy, Director of PTAC at the Regional Chamber says government contracting just may provide the best opportunity for your business to grow and diversify this year.

“Many businesses don’t think about government contracting when they are looking to grow,” said Frigy. “But they really should take a look at getting in on the over $400 billion dollar government contracting market.  There are many opportunities for businesses large and small to work with local, state and federal government departments.  If you come to the seminar on April 10, we will show you the nuts and bolts of government contracting, so that you can explore the possibilities for your business.”

Attendees also will learn about the services and support the Regional Chamber PTAC has available to assist with the contracting process. The workshop will benefit management and employees who currently support or have an interest in facilitating government contracting within their companies.

There is no cost to attend, but reservations are required.  To register contact Chelsea Schutz at (810) 600-1437 or .  The Regional Chamber is located at 519 S. Saginaw St. in downtown Flint.
