PTAC Seminar October 3; State of Michigan Webinar Reveals Keys to Working with the State
The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) will host a Selling your Products or Services to the Government workshop on October 3 and partner with the State of Michigan to present a webinar series on October 24 and 31. The workshop will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce in the Mott Board Room.
The State of Michigan webinar series will provide specifics on getting started in government contracting with the state. Participants will have an opportunity to gain specific knowledge about contracting with state departments.
Dustin Frigy, Director of PTAC for the Regional Chamber says businesses should consider learning how government contracting can increase growth and diversification.
“Working with the government can open new doors,” said Frigy. “There are many ways that businesses of all sizes can work with local, state and federal government departments. That’s why this seminar is so important. It provides the information needed to successfully navigate the government maze and reveals exactly what they are looking for from contractors. Workshop attendees also will learn about the services and support the Regional Chamber PTAC has available to help with the contracting process. The workshop will benefit management and employees who currently support or have an interest in facilitating government contracting within their companies.
