(FLINT, Mich. – Nov. 10, 2015) The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce’s three-part series on how to “Grow Your Business” kicks off this month with a focus hiring and training.
Talent workshop presenters will include staff from Mott Community College Workforce Development, Baker College of Flint, Flint/Genesee Job Corps Center, Community Ventures and GST Michigan Works!.
The “Grow Your Business” sessions are free but space is limited. Register for one or all.
Session 1: Grow Your Talent Nov. 17, 8-9:30 a.m.
- Participants will learn about the availability of programs to assist with finding and training talent. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet directly with resource partners and discuss their company’s hiring and training needs. Session 2: Grow Your Sales Dec. 1, 8-9:30 a.m.
- Grow your sales by opening new markets in government contracting and international markets. Hear from the Region 6 Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) Director, Stacy Betts, as well as a panel of experts in the area of Exporting.
