Great Lakes Flotation will host an open house on Tuesday, July 15. The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce will help cut the ribbon on the expansion of the region’s only floatation therapy center. The ribbon cutting will take place at 4:00 p.m. followed by an open house until 7:00 p.m.
According to Terri Stangl, Owner of Great Lakes Floatation, floating provides a unique level of relaxation that you have to experience to appreciate the benefits.
“Most people are surprised at how different they feel after a float session,” said Stangl. “As an attorney, I understand how beneficial relaxation can be. Busy people from across the region come to Great Lakes to experience float therapy. My clients range from physicians and athletes to parents and skilled tradesman. That’s why I have decided to have the center open full time. Part-time hours were just not enough to meet demand.”
The open house will feature free ten-minute massages and a tour of the facility. For more information contact Terri Stangl at (810) 584-5511.
