Flint & Genesee customer service superstars will be honored during the 25th Annual Flint & Genesee Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) Hospitality Awards. The event takes place on Thursday, May 23 at the Holiday Inn Gateway Centre from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Ted Valley Executive Artistic Director of Vertigo Theatrics will serve as the master of ceremonies.
Each year the Flint & Genesee CVB collaborates with hotels, restaurants and business establishments to gather customer commendations for high levels of hospitality and customer service from across the region.
For the first time this year, a Community Champion will be honored for assisting the CVB with bringing a meeting with the greatest economic impact to the region.
Cheryl Defrain, Director of the Regional Chamber CVB says the Hospitality award nominees and the Community Champion exemplify the community spirit needed to encourage visitors to “See what’s possible” in Flint & Genesee.
“The CVB created the Hospitality Awards to recognize the best of the best in Genesee County,” said DeFrain. “May is Hospitality Month and many of the people recognized at the awards rarely receive praise for their hard work. This event is the perfect way to say thank you for going above and beyond to provide great customer service.”
The cost to attend the Hospitality Awards is $25 for nominees and $30 for the general public. To register or for more information contact Brian Sullivan at (810) 600-1404 or .
