(FLINT, MICHIGAN – June 20) Are you ready to provide goods or services to the City of Flint or Genesee County? Then plan to join the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce Procurement and Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) as they host a Local Contracting Opportunities 5.0 workshop. The seminar takes place on Thursday, June 26, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Chamber offices in Downtown Flint.
According to Dustin Frigy, Director of PTAC at the Chamber businesses should consider learning how government contracting can increase growth and diversification. He says his experienced team will provide all of the information needed to pursue local and county government contracts, along with navigating the bid process, identifying opportunities and developing proposals. Genesee County Purchasing Manager Cindy Carnes will also be on hand to provide information regarding working with the county.
“Working with the City of Flint and Genesee County can provide growth opportunities for local businesses,” said Frigy. “The workshop will teach you how to navigate the complex government contracting process.”
Attendees also will learn about the expertise available through the Chamber PTAC team. The team is certified in government contracting and experienced in helping local businesses win contracts at all levels.
There is no cost to participate in the workshop, but registration is required. The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce is located at 519 S. Saginaw in downtown Flint.
