The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that several members have earned a 4-percent dividend through the Accident Fund Insurance Company of America workers’ compensation group program.
The 4-percent dividend is based upon each participant’s premium costs. Since 2004, Accident Fund has paid participating Chamber-member dividends in excess of $1.32 million.
Over and above the dividend opportunities, the Chamber’s group dividend program offers a 5-percent discount on workers’ compensation insurance premium rates to participating businesses.
Practicing and promoting safety in the workplace not only leads to fewer injuries and workers’ compensation claims, resulting in lowered premiums, but can also lead to monetary rewards through our group program dividends.
“Congratulations to our members who participate in the program,” said Tim Herman, CEO of the Flint & Genesee Chamber. “In May 2015, the Chamber’s group program was reviewed and it was determined that we earned a 4-percent dividend for members that participated in the program from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2013. Our group will be reviewed again this same time next year for another possible dividend distribution.”
