The works of about 50 artists will be featured as the First Frost Arts & Fine Crafts Fair returns to the Flint Institute of Arts for its ninth year.
The annual fair, organized by the Founders Society, will take place Saturday and Sunday, October 18-19, at the FIA, 1120 E. Kearsley St., Flint.
The two-day festival will feature works in mediums including glass, wood, fiber, jewelry, ceramics, paintings and more. It will also include glassblowing demonstrations, musical entertainment and a Festival of Trees and Wreaths, featuring the works of local designers, florists, community organizations and First Frost volunteers. Trees and wreaths will be available for purchase via silent auction.
Fair hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5; seniors 62 and older, $4. Children 12 and younger enter free. Learn more at (810) 234-1695 or www.flintarts.org.
