The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce is seeking qualified applicants for the following positions:
Business Development Manager – Has day to day responsibility for working with business investment prospects and ensuring that appropriate community resources and support are available to support their business objectives. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public policy or other related field, and a minimum of five years of direct experience in economic development and public policy.
Senior Business Development Manager- Has day to day responsibility to conduct outreach and work with business investment prospects (retention/expansion and attraction) to promote completion of business investment projects. Also coordinates internal financing programs and support for Chamber use of external financing incentives. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public policy or other related field; a minimum of seven years of direct experience in business development, economic development and/or public policy; and a demonstrated track record in business retention, expansion and attraction projects.
