The Machine Shop
Bringing live music to Flint since 2002, the Machine Shop has brought in acts such as Uncle Kracker, Kid Rock and Bret Michaels. With musical acts most Friday and Saturday nights, the venue, located on Dort Highway, is a busy place for nightlife.
Flint Local 432
One of the longest-running all-ages venues in the country, Flint Local 432 hosts musical acts, spoken word and art performances, and more. The venue, founded in the mid-1980s was the starting place for nationally touring bands such as Chiodos and The Swellers.
Soggy Bottom Bar
In Carriage Town, the Soggy Bottom Bar is the place to be on Tuesday nights if you like jazz. Frequenting artists include Bobby Streng, Dwight Adams and Ben Schlatter.
Churchill’s Food & Spirits
Established in 1980, Churchill’s has been part of the Flint community for decades. Today, the bar offers over 400 whiskeys, making it Flint’s only official whiskey bar. The restaurant also features a craft cocktail menu and 30 rotating craft beers.
