The Chamber is gearing up for the December Lunch is On Us, which will be the final – and largest – LOU event of the year.
The free networking luncheon will be held for the first time at the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center, with available seating for up to 300 attendees. In contrast, most LOU events have seating for 100 to 150 people.
“We’re looking forward to ending the year with a bang,” said Heather Kale, Director of Member Services, noting that members are encouraged to invite guests to the festive event.
In addition to a gourmet hot cocoa bar, there will be an “Ugly Sweater Contest” with several prizes. For businesses looking to bring more exposure to their brand, Kale recommends donating/sponsoring a door prize.
The Flint Firebirds will also be hand, sporting ugly jerseys, which will be auctioned off during their Dec. 11 game against the Mississauga Steelheads.
SERVPRO of Northwest Genesee County is the lead sponsor of this month’s LOU, with DFCU Event Center serving as the co-sponsor.
