(Flint, Mich., Feb. 15, 2024) Supporting local businesses just got easier with the launch of a standalone website for the Flint & Genesee Chamber. The new FlintandGeneseeChamber.org provides a more streamlined experience for Chamber members and the people interested in doing business with them.
“The Flint & Genesee Chamber supports the individual and collective success of small businesses based in Genesee County,” said Andrew Younger, executive director of the Chamber. “One way we do that is by helping local businesses gain greater visibility and connect with potential clients, customers, and partners. Our website is an important tool in that effort.”
According to Younger, the new website offers several resources of interest to the broader community. This includes:
- A robust member directory featuring an interactive map. This function allows visitors to search for specific types of businesses based on location.
- Job opportunities with participating Chamber members.
- An events calendar highlighting upcoming networking opportunities, professional development trainings, and other community events.
- The Marketplace, where members can promote deals and discounts available to the public.
Additionally, visitors can use the website to learn about upcoming networking, committee, and sponsorship opportunities. For future members, there’s also information about membership benefits and how to join.
Members of the Flint & Genesee Chamber are encouraged to update their listing in the Member Portal regularly. For a refresher or training in how to use the portal, Chamber members should contact Jennie Main, the Chamber’s engagement specialist, at or 810-600-1459.
