We’re almost there… Spring is just around the corner and so is the Flint & Genesee Chamber’s Annual Meeting.
We are looking forward to seeing you, our members and our partners on March 23 at the Holiday Inn Gateway Centre. The Annual Meeting provides the perfect opportunity for the Chamber to showcase some of our key results accomplished in 2014, and thank our investors for their confidence and continued support. We’ll also spend some time highlighting what’s ahead for the Chamber as we approach the second quarter of 2015.
In addition, I think you will enjoy hearing from our keynote speaker, Phil Hagerman. As some of you are aware, Phil is the CEO of Diplomat. We have partnered with Phil for the past few years and I can tell you that he is very committed to the reinvention and prosperity of Flint and Genesee County. Not only has Diplomat had a major impact on our local economy through jobs, taxes and outstanding corporate citizenship, Phil demonstrates his commitment personally through major philanthropic gifts to organizations such as the University of Michigan-Flint to create an entrepreneur center and Ferris State College of Pharmacy.
We believe that the Flint & Genesee Chamber offers the greatest value to the community. Through leadership, vision and strategic partnerships we have achieved a strong, competitive business climate. We are seeing continued major investment and incremental growth in jobs, business attraction is on the upswing and we’re making significant reinvestment in downtown Flint.
