The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce is seeking candidates for the following open positions:
Administrative Assistant, YouthQuest After School Initiative Program – Associates Degree in Business or Administrative Assistant program preferred. Three (3) years of paid work experience as executive and/or administrative assistant to Program Director or upper management. Candidate must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate with diverse groups of people. Demonstrated advanced level ability in the use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
Fund Development Coordinator – Part time – The individual selected for this position will perform professional and technical work in developing and implementing a fund development strategy for the YouthQuest After School Initiative. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations or related field is required. Two to five years of professional fund development experience in a public or non-profit organization is also required. Knowledge of fund development, donor development, and major donor strategies is a plus.
Grants Coordinator – Associates Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Three years of direct experience in non-profit sector, grant writing, research and data collection preferred.
Logistics Coordinator – Requires Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field. One year of experience in collecting and analyzing data. Understanding of student information systems used to manage data in an education setting.
Curriculum/Professional Development Coordinator for the After School Initiative – Associates Degree in Business or related program. Three years of work experience in youth programming required.
Salary: Negotiable based on applicant experience.
