Learn More About Flint & Genesee Reinvention and Revitalization Efforts

Request a Speaker through the FGCC Speakers Bureau

The new community brand marketing campaign, Flint & Genesee revitalization, community involvement, youth activities, programs and services, the importance of tourism and business opportunities are among the many topics covered by speakers from the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce.  The Chamber’s Speakers Bureau, launched last year, provides speakers for meetings, events and conferences.

The primary goal of the Speakers Bureau is to inform, encourage and engage the community regarding activities throughout Flint and Genesee County.  Chamber speakers provide information on available programs and services; promote positive news happening in the community; increase the visibility of our work in the community; report the organization’s performance results; and communicate how the public can get involved in revitalizing the Flint and Genesee County.

In the last year, Chamber speakers have addressed hundreds of Genesee County business professionals, educators and residents through meetings and groups including:  local chambers, school/program graduations, community meetings, churches, Kiwanis Clubs, Rotary Clubs and school groups.  Speakers address many topics including business services, economic development, employer and youth education, reinvention of Flint and Genesee County, government contracting, business and community engagement (how to get involved), tourism and business networking.  Chamber leadership and staff are available to speak to non-profit, professional, educational, business and civic or trade organizations.
