The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce recently convened a Faith-Based Collaborative. Seven religious leaders representing multiple denominations take part in the ongoing effort to provide a regular platform for collaboration and information sharing.
George Wilkinson, Director of Shared Services for the Chamber leads the newly formed group. He says the goal is to share information, gain insight and foster cooperative engagement throughout the community.
“The Faith-Based Collaborative is designed to give a voice to leaders in the community,” said Wilkinson. “Our goal is to identify opportunities to share services ranging from landscaping, garbage collection or snow removal.”
