Food, fun and festivities are the highlights of the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce Member Celebration – Hot Rods & Hot Dogs. The event takes place on Thursday, August 14 under the big tent at the corner of S. Saginaw and Second Streets from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. during the Back to the Bricks cruise.
The members-only cookout features free food from the grill catered by Blackstone’s Pub and Grill, along with free beer and wine on the lawn of the Wade Trim Building. Music will be provided by the ROOK Band. Chamber members can also show off their classic cars along Second Street while watching cars cruise on S. Saginaw Street.
Heather Kale, Director of Member Services for the Chamber says the goal of Hot Rods & Hot Dogs is to bring all of the Chambers members and friends together to celebrate a fabulous year in Flint & Genesee.
“This year promises to be our best year yet,” said Kale. “It is such an exciting time in downtown Flint and Hot Rods & Hot Dogs is the ultimate venue to enjoy the cars while having a great time in the city. As we recognize the collaborative spirit of our membership and this community, this is our way of saying thank you.”
