“This is an exciting time for Genesee County,” said Russ Govette, vice president, Central Sign & Fabricating. It’s evident that there are a lot of people with aggressive plans working hard to make positive things happen in this region. We’re very pleased to be part of the positive momentum.

“Our first year in Holly has been successful. And we expect this trend to continue. Over time, we will grow our business and bring more jobs to the region.”

Central Sign specializes in indoor and outdoor retail signs, themed signs, branding and re-imaging, corporate identity sign programs, and entertainment signage.  And they are licensed to develop Braille signage.

Central Sign uses a patented manufacturing process that includes an anti-microbial coating.  This process can be especially beneficial for hospitals and schools for use on items such as switch plates, hand rails and signage.

Tim Herman, CEO of the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce, said that Central Sign & Fabricating is another great example of partnership building and business diversification in Genesee County.

“Our Member Services staff at the Regional Chamber played a key role in bringing the right people together to make the relocation a reality,” he said.  “On behalf of our local business and community leaders, I want to congratulate Central Sign & Fabricating on their one-year anniversary and on their move to Genesee County.

“We will do everything that we can to support Central Signs and their growth plans — and we will continue to look for opportunities to bring more jobs, economic growth and diverse businesses to our area,” said Herman.
