The City of Burton recently rezoned 120 acres of industrial development. The land was previously considered for residential use, but it’s now available for immediate industrial development. The location is immediately adjacent to a major CN rail line and two miles from I-69.

Mexico-based SANLUIS Rassini recently announced plans to locate an automotive product machining facility in Mt. Morris Charter Township. The new brakes plant represents a $17.3 million investment, as well as the creation of 55 new jobs along I-75 in Flint & Genesee this year and the potential for 45-50 additional new jobs in 2014.

Senderra Rx Specialty Pharmacy recently announced the opening of a Flint Township-based Patient Services Center. The new Center represents a $675,000 investment and will bring 170 new jobs to Flint Township over the next three years.

The results confirm that existing transportation strategies at the state, regional and local levels have positioned the region to take advantage of forecasted growth trends.
