Andiamo Fenton grand opening to benefit TeenQuest

Monday, February 4 from 5 – 9 p.m., Andiamo Fenton will hold a grand opening celebration benefitting TeenQuest at the restaurant’s new location in the Horizon Building, at 102 W. Silver Lake Road, Fenton.

The event will include great food and wine at one of Genesee County’s newest restaurants, while also supporting a program that has helped thousands of teens develop skills to get and maintain a job.

“This is a great opportunity for friends of TeenQuest to support the program while getting a first look at the new restaurant,” says James Avery, director of Education & Training at the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce, which administers TeenQuest. “We’re grateful to Andiamo Fenton for including TeenQuest in the Charity Night event.”

TeenQuest is designed to teach Genesee County teens important skills that are needed to “stand up and stand out” to employers. Hands-on activities promote key soft skills including communication, goal setting and conflict resolution. Participants also learn how to write resumes, prepare for interviews and open personal checking/savings accounts.

To support TeenQuest at Andiamo Fenton Charity Night, supporters can purchase tickets through the Flint & Genesee Chamber.

Tickets are $100, tax-deductible and are required to enter the event. They can be purchased with cash or a check made payable to the Genesee Chamber Foundation.
