January is the coldest month in Flint & Genesee. So, if you’re not a fan of the winter blast, there are plenty of activities to do inside. Whether it’s with a group of friends or the entire family, here are six ways to have fun indoors.
Catch a Firebirds Game
Flint’s own OHL team, the Flint Firebirds, play from September – March with over 30 home games played at the Dort Federal Credit Union Events Center.
Play at an Indoor Trampoline Park
Over 15,000 square feet of interconnected trampolines line Planet 3 Extreme Air Park in Flint Township. Other activities include a slack line, foam pits and dunk zones.
Experience an Escape Room
Flint & Genesee has three places to escape from: Spymaker Escape Rooms in Flint, Solve It Escape Room in Burton and Michigan Escape Games in Davison.
Go Bowling
Flint & Genesee has plenty of places to bowl including Grand Blanc Lanes, host of the 116th Michigan State USBC Open Championship.
Watch a Movie
Going to the movies is always great fun! Many new movies have and will hit local theaters including NGC Trillium Cinema in Grand Blanc and Flint West 14 in Flint Township.
Visit a Museum
Explore art or history at a local museum. For automotive history, visit Sloan Museum. Love art? Visit the Flint Institute of Arts.
